With Swather / Tedder Plus, your swathers and tedders in FS25 get normal wear and tear, damage from overload, and spare parts you can buy. It is made for single-player use, so multiplayer is not supported.
Features
- The mod checks supported base-game equipment and some modded equipment to detect how many rotors and arms they have.
- Once the rotors and arms are detected, spare parts use is adjusted to match them. If the count cannot be detected, predefined default values step in.
- While you work, tines, tine retainers or safety brackets, and claw couplings wear down.
- Too much operational stress adds extra damage to the equipment.
- You can use the HUD to see the equipment condition, then move it, hide it, or change its size.
- You can find the matching spare parts boxes in the “HMT-Ersatzteile” (HMT Spare Parts) shop category.
- This is for single-player use only; multiplayer is not supported.
Specifications
- Tines use a standard wear interval of 10 operating hours.
- For tine retainers, the standard wear interval is 15 operating hours.
- Claw couplings have a standard wear interval of 20 operating hours.
- One spare parts box contains 50 tines, 100 tine retainers, or 10 claw couplings.
- The purchase amount is between 1 and 5 boxes.
- For maintenance up to version 1.1.2.2, the default key combination is Ctrl + Alt + 6.
- Starting with version 1.1.2.3, Ctrl + Alt + Caps Lock works too.
Controls
Get into a vehicle with a supported swather or tedder to operate the system. It first uses the implement you currently selected. If you have not selected one, it chooses the first detected implement. Before you continue, close any menus that are open.
- HUD: Use Left Ctrl + Left Alt + 3 to show the HUD or hide it.
- Use Left Ctrl + Left Alt + 4 for “move mode”. Hold the left mouse button to drag the visible HUD around. While this mode is active, camera and zoom controls are disabled.
- Use Left Ctrl + Left Alt + 5 to cycle the HUD through 50%, 25%, 20%, and 75% of the speedometer width.
- Maintenance, always active: Ctrl + Alt + Caps Lock starts maintenance or clears a blockage. Pressing it again during maintenance stops the process, and no parts are consumed. You can still perform maintenance with the HUD hidden.
Stop the vehicle and turn off the implement before doing maintenance. To replace parts, place the correct spare parts boxes or pallets within five meters of the implement. They need to belong to the same farm and have sufficient stock. A blockage takes eight seconds to clear and does not consume spare parts. Otherwise, the component group with the highest wear level is replaced during 20 seconds when enough replacement parts are available. Run the process again for any additional component groups.
The parts are consumed only after the process finishes successfully. If you move the vehicle or turn on the implement, the operation is cancelled. It also ends when the needed spare parts supply is no longer available, for example because the parts were moved away.
Reassign the three HUD actions through Options → Controls. Maintenance also has a separate remappable action, although it has no default key assignment. Your existing user-defined key bindings stay as they are. The fixed Ctrl + Alt + Caps Lock combination keeps working regardless of custom settings.

Changelog
Version 1.1.2.4
- Spare parts calculation is fixed: Minor rounding discrepancies during saving and loading no longer create an additional spare part requirement at integer boundaries.
- Pre-planning now uses the same calculation method as the start of maintenance.
- The fixed maintenance key combination Ctrl + Alt + Caps Lock has been added. You can still set another maintenance key binding in the game.
- Camera inputs are switched off while you reposition the HUD. Changing implements now leaves repositioning mode automatically.
- Shared mouse cursor management for multiple “Plus” HUDs has been refined, with proper restoration after closing menus.
- This version is intended for single-player use; multiplayer is not supported.
