This mod makes rain and heat count for your crops in Farming Simulator 25. Every field gets its own moisture level, so leaving the soil too dry for too long can cut the crop yield. That gives you another job to handle while you play and build your farm.
Features
- Rain tops up the moisture in your fields, while sunlight and heat bring it back down.
- Let a crop stay too dry for too long and it will eventually wilt, giving you a lower yield at harvest.
- Stand on a field and check the “Soil and Crop” panel to see its current moisture level.
- Tap
Alt + Mto bring up a farm-wide moisture map. Press it a second time and the losses are shown. - The irrigation reel comes with a modeled gun cart that has no brand.
- You get a 350 m hose, plus a tank that holds 350 m³.
- Fill the irrigation reel at a water station, with a water tanker, or straight from a river.
- Take the irrigation reel to the field edge and keep the cart mounted at the rear.
- Press
Xin the tractor, orRon foot, then pick the side where you want the hose to extend. The turret swivels and the cart follows along. - Unhitch the irrigation reel, reverse the tractor against the cart’s drawbar, and it hitches itself automatically.
- Drive forward slowly to roll the hose out. Stay at 6 km/h or less, since it brakes beyond 6 km/h and breaks above 9 km/h.
- Unhitch the cart, then start rewinding with
R. The reel pulls the cart back, while the gun waters a strip approximately 56 m wide. - The soil you water turns dark and wet for around twelve hours.
- Once you finish, a message tells you the water amount applied, the area and the application rate in millimetres.
- Press
Xonce to fold the reel, and the whole setup goes back into transport position.
