Today there is evidence of the once numerous hermit farms with flourishing agriculture, forestry and livestock farming in this remote area only the only two remaining farms in the municipality of Gamsting. They are now responsible for managing the entire valley. The aim here is to supply and manage the village’s own BGAs and their own livestock. The local branches of the garden center, warehouse, sawmill, paper mill and potato factory etc. are the only partner for farmers in the region.
