In the base game, a ground-engaging implement pulls back with one fixed force whenever it is in the ground. It does not matter how fast you drive or what the soil is like. Real Farm Ops changes that, so draft responds to speed, soil water and compaction.
Features
- Your speed now matters through the ASABE D497 draft equations farm engineers use. At 11 km/h, a plough pulls about 1.5× what it pulls at 7 km/h. A chisel builds up more gently.
- Water in the soil changes the pull too. Dry, hard ground is the toughest, friable ground is the easiest, and wet, sticky ground gets harder again as soil sticks to the steel. If installed, Mud System Physics provides the field wetness.
- Visual Mud Tracks’ topsoil hardness and subsoil compaction affect the draft. A plough pan loads up the plough and subsoiler, while a hard crust loads cultivators and discs.
- Wet crop adds a small extra load to mowers, tedders and rakes, because wet grass drags more through a cutterbar or rake.
- Only the pullback force of the implement is changed by the mod. The game physics take care of engine load, fuel use, wheel slip and sink, and wear by themselves.
- Works with Real Fuel Consumption, Mud System Physics and Advanced Damage System without patching any of them.
